Advertising and cookies

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure those ads, and may use your prior visits to this and other websites to personalise what you see. PlayMetronome is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program, and we earn from qualifying purchases made through those links. Following such a link sends an affiliate tag to Amazon so the referral can be credited, and Amazon then applies its own privacy policy and cookies. Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure audience. It uses cookies to count visits and to show which pages are used, with information such as the device, browser and approximate location. The site also shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to display and measure ads. In addition, some links on this site are affiliate links from the Amazon Partners Program. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon may set cookies when you follow such a link. The tools themselves run in your browser. Whatever you type or set in a tool is not sent to us or to these services.

Microphone access

The tuner pages ask for microphone permission. Audio is analysed in your browser to work out pitch and is never transmitted, recorded or stored anywhere. Permission is only requested when you press the button, and the microphone stops as soon as you press it again or close the tab. You can withdraw the permission at any time from your browser's site settings.

Data we hold

We operate no accounts, no logins, no newsletter and no contact form, so we hold no personal data you have given us. Files you load into the BPM finder are decoded locally and never uploaded. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention.
